Eastvale, CA – The California Democratic Party voted to endorse Sabrina Cervantes’s campaign for State Assembly. Cervantes received 95% of the votes cast by grassroots Democratic leaders who live in the 60th Assembly District at the “Pre-Convention Caucus” last month. This endorsement recommendation was ratified by delegates from throughout the state at the party’s annual convention, which was held over the weekend in San Jose.

Following the endorsement vote, Cervantes stated:

“I am honored to earn the official endorsement of the California Democratic Party, and I am energized by the outpouring of support our campaign received this weekend. In the Assembly, I will join my Democratic colleagues in fighting to advance the policies that get more money into our schools, grow the middle class, and protect our most vulnerable citizens. The endorsement of the party will play a critical role in helping us consolidate support from voters across the 60th District.”
